Wellness Therapies Spokane is a community of therapists dedicated to helping you find a pathway of healing, growth, well-being, empowerment, and acceptance. ALL ARE WELCOME.

Welcome

Wellness Therapies Spokane is a community of therapists dedicated to helping clients find pathways of healing, growth, well-being, empowerment, and acceptance. We believe that all people should have access to our programs. We stand in solidarity with BIPOC communities, and our marginalized, vulnerable, and at-risk populations in the fight against racism and all forms of oppression. We believe that a person’s healthcare decisions should be between themselves and their medical providers. We believe that all individuals have the right to be accepted for their unique and authentic selves, which includes the right to make their own medical decisions.
Whether you’re looking for support or guidance through a particularly difficult time, or you’re open to a real change in your life and where you’re going, Wellness Therapies is a place where healing and awareness can begin.

Starting therapy means taking the first steps on a new and sometimes scary journey, but you are not taking them alone. Whatever obstacles and struggles you may be going through in life, we consider it a privilege to help. We offer trauma-informed, holistic, person-centered therapy for children, teens and families, adults and couples using an integrative and tailored approach that works with the whole person.

CHILDREN, TEENS & FAMILIES

These days, thriving during childhood and into the teenage years can feel complicated and challenging. Whether it is about navigating new friendships or old ones, changes to the family dynamic, or not knowing how to process strong emotions, therapy can help.

Our therapists work collaboratively with their clients using evidence-based practices including Child-centered Play Therapy, Sand-Tray, Attachment Focused Therapy, EMDR, Family Therapy and more.  We support children, teenagers, and young adults, individually and in their family units. We work with your young people and your family to help everyone heal, grow and learn new skills for navigating what’s to come.

INDIVIDUALS

Whether you’re navigating new or recent challenges or you are ready to process old traumas, therapy can help you to feel regulated, and increase a sense of agency in your own life.

Our therapists use evidence based therapies including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Somatic Therapy, Mindfulness, EMDR, Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), and Biofeedback and more. We work with you to help increase acceptance, insight, growth, and lasting change.

COUPLES

The relational work of couples counseling offers a space where couples are invited to explore healthy patterns of connecting, communicating, and problem solving – together.  Whether you are a newer couple seeking to establish healthy patterns of connecting or you are seeking to unlearn old patterns and develop new, healthier ways of coming together, couples work can be essential. Our therapists work collaboratively with their clients to identify and heal ruptures, and find more enhanced emotional connection

Using Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Gottman, Marriage and Family Therapy, Lifespan Integration, and more our therapists work to create a safe and open space for healing and greater well-being. Couples therapy can support partners through communication challenges, parenting difficulties, grief and loss, infidelity, blending families, stress management, medical crisis support and more.
