Maggie has worked in social services since 2003 in various healthcare and mental health settings. As a Clinical Social Worker and Certified Child Life Specialist, she has extensive training in trauma, child development, grief/loss, disability, chronic illness, and school issues.

Maggie’s goal is to help clients identify the experiences that have shaped them and to transform past trauma and pain into resilience and strength.

Maggie utilizes EMDR, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Play Therapy, as well as Expressive Arts Therapies. When there aren’t words, there are other ways to explore and make sense of our personal experiences, and to move forward with new confidence.

Maggie has a special interest in working with children, adolescents, parents, and healthcare providers. She is openly affirming of neurodiversity, as well as members of the LGBTQ+ community. She brings a lot of warmth, compassion, and humor to the counseling environment.
