Britta Howard, LICSW-A

Mental Health Therapist

Britta comes to us with an MSW from Boise State University. She has an extensive background in working with complex trauma and offers her clients a trauma-informed, anti-oppressive model of caring for their emotional well-being.

Britta enjoys working with adults of all ages and walks of life. She is passionate about diversity-affirming care and aligns with the LGBTQIA+ Community, the Neurodiversity Movement, and Body/Fat Acceptance. She is also driven to support other helpers in the community who may be experiencing secondary trauma or burnout.

The body-mind-soul connection is a crucial component of Britta’s holistic approach to counseling, as well as the importance of community in healing. Her trauma-informed, mindfulness-based approach centers around clients’ personal values and strengths, helping them free themselves from shame and begin the practice of radical self-acceptance with new awareness and skills.
